Bullet Bars

I am building bars always. Been very busy approaching the Holidays. Orders are slowing down some. I can usually do a 2 day turn around. That 13/16 diameter is becoming quite popular in thje lap steel arena. Have a great new year. Jim Burden Bullet Bars

New Tablature from Don Sulesky

I just received my new tablature from Don Sulesky of some of Bob Wills tunes. This is great stuff, well written and easy to follow.I especially like the bindings on all Don's courses. They lay flat and you don't have to clothes pin them down. Don is a super guy to do business with.Give them a try, Ith...

Thanks for the encouragement. I do have insurance, but those steels will be hard to replace. They took 4 regular guitars too.The serial no. on my Gibson Les Paul was 72229009 . It was new in 79'.I have serial no's written down on the others but can't remember where I stuck the paper. The Sho-Bud had 5...

I lost a lap steel I built. It was black lacquer with my last name on the head stock(Burden) I lost a supero wit...

Jim, I had a single six with I believe 4 pedals. The only thing I remember that might help,is the open tuning on the pedal neck was A. I remember it had an E pedal and a C#minor 7th pedal and I can't remember the others. Good luck with the project.

Ernest,I am not trying to sell you a bar,but you struck a chord with me.That ringing is one of the reasons I started building my own bars.Every bar I build is tapered alittle on BOTH ends. This sounds backwards, but believe me this takes care of the ringing and provides a balanced feel.
