Re: Unique Hungarian lap steel

It is either strung backwards (to our way of playing) or else it is the left-handed model.

A Good Idea from Stephen. Another thing to try would be some Screenless Rings from a Reso Parts Supplier and fill in the rings with plastic, wood, cardboard, whatever you got.

I agree, looking at his hands, Jimmy seems to know what he´s doing there. Also, his facial expression reminds me of Buddy. FWIW, on page 52 of the Duchossoir Book, there are two photos of Alvino Rey with his new Console Grande delivered in March 1939. Alvino´s CG has a Blonde finish and the same I...

Roland AC-33. Two channels and reverb. One reason I bought mine is for the built-in Looper, but I haven´t really figured it out. Great for acoustic or clean electric. A couple of foot-switches, not included, are needed to get the max out of the effects.

Ben, I can´t help with the cabinet ID, but your mention of the ´CE´ mark got me to thinking and searching. I always figured that it meant ´Consumer Electronics´, but that was just a guess. I did a little searching and found that it means ´Conformité Européenne´ which is of course French for...
