Very good William, I dont find it as easy as you make it look.

My 'homebuilts' were dyed with water based dye 'Keda wood dyes' then clear polyurethane.

I wouldn't recommend a 'Carter starter', my first guitar was one and the only good thing I could say about it was it encouraged me to build my own, on the principle that I couldn't make anything worse than that.

Most decent electronic keyboards have a 'transpose' function that enables a player to play in any key using the chord fingerings they are familiar with Alan.

Hi Bill A couple of years ago when I was 66 and supposed to be in possesion of more sense, I decided I should try a pedal steel guitar, I bought a 'Carter Starter' but did'nt feel comfortable with it so I got myself a 'Emmons ST10' (black). This machine has taken over my life, it has its own bedroom...

I have met David at one of John Davis's 'pedal steel meets' in Cambridgeshire and I can assure anyone, that the only 'attitude' David displayed was a willingness to take time to talk to a newbie like me. The main problem with drilling aluminium is the fact that it will fuse to the cutting edge of the drill, to prevent this use some kerosene as a cutting lubricant, WD40 will also help.

It's one of the few uses Ive found for WD40!
