Weber amp kit
Hi John: I said I would almost pay to build one. It's a lot of work but i enjoy it. I will build any kit you want for free, just have it shipped to me and pay the shipping from my house to yours when I'm done. Jim Sampson

rWeber 6A80 amplifier
Does anyone have any experience with the Weber 6A80 amplifier kit ? I am thinking about building one with two 12" speakers. The circuitry is almost identical to the Fender Twin and I am a retired technician and would almost pay them to let me build one. Jim Sampson

I would like to know if anyone knows if there is a drum machine that is currently made that has pre-recorded tracks of rim shots and hi-hats suitable for the old classic country music that all you have to do is dial in the...

Drum Machine
Can anyone recommend a drum machine that has PRE-RECORDED tracks that is suited for classic country music (mainly rim shots and hi-hats)? I've tried a couple of different units and neither one knew what a rim shot was. Jim Sampson

Al, I have played lead guitar for over 40 years with many bands. I don't play professionally any more because of health reasons. I have noticed since I joined the forum that everyone seems to have different opinions and preferrences and I am no different. I want a 6 string pedal because it is what I...

Tks Ricky but the part I am trying to duplicate exactly is what I believe you are referring to as the harmonic intro, just prior to your 3-5-12-7 on the 4th string. By the way, give 13-15-22-17 on the first string a try for the start and see if you like it better. Tks: Jim

I recommend you take Marvin Born's advice. It sounds like a filter capacitor to me. It is a simple repair for a qualified tech. I've been fixing amps for over 30 years for a living and could probably do it in less than an hour on my worst day. No need to ship it off unnecessarily.

Does anyone have the correct E9 tabs for "sleepwalk" I have listened and tried several different versions and the intro on all of then hasn't sounded quite right to me. I am pretty sure the correct intro chords are C-Am-Fm-G7 C-Am-F=G7 Tks: Jim

check for any dc voltage on the phone plug of what you are plugging into your amp. it can cause the problem your describing and can be caused by a leaky capacitor, especially in a high impedance circuit.
