Metal nut and pickup for '61 Gibson Skylark Lap Steel
I put most of this together from 2 Ebay "as is, project guitar" sales, and currently I have a Gibson Melody Maker pickup in it and a bone nut I bought from Stewart Mac I hand-shaped. It plays fine as is but the tone suffers. Thanks for any help in advance.

I've also got a TV Front Pro I'd love to pick your brain about. Mine has a Jensen P15N in it with a 1952 date code, and the output transformer is bolted to the side of the amp, not to the chassis or speaker frame.
