I'm a young guy, 23 this coming Sunday. I'm new to pedal steel, but I honestly feel that as long as there's recordings of the pedal steel available, there'll be people who fall in love with it like we all did.

That's a beautiful instrument. What tuning do you use on it?

I just picked up my copy today and I love it. They picked a good selection too. I think Norm Hamlet plays on the Haggard cuts, am I right? I know Paul Franklin plays on the Jones cuts.

man I hope not. Him and Neil Flanz are the main reasons I started playing the pedal steel. I even named my car Sneaky Pete. If so, it's a sad day.
