These are designed to be played standing. They also can convert to a guitsteel. You can see the double neck before and after the Spanish guitar is attached with thumb bolts. Oh yea and on the bottom end I run the thin strings threw some old brass ball ends set on the bridge and nut to shim the string up

I use an E13 on my 12 string (low to hi) F# D E G# B C# E G# B C# E D On the bottom end the F# and D are thin strings pitched above and below the middle E. The D on the hi end is pitched just below the 1st E, From E to E Is E6 All your C6 stuff is right there without having to worry about string ski...

Thanks Andy, I just ordered one. And BTW I bought your Steel Guitar book 7 or 8 years ago and have gone through it many times. It's Great! I'll be pulling it out again to read the interviews with the Sacred Steel players.

The double neck in my avatar has a couple of small dings and scratches from me giging with it. You could have it at a reduced rate. I also have two Console Grand's
From the late 40s/early 50s I'm not using. One sunburst and one natural.

    Thanks Mark! The single necks on my website are set up so you can add a guitar or another single to make a double neck steel. They all have an input and output jack. The toggle switches the pickup and input jack.
