I notice alot of players use both on their double necks.
Is the only advantage thae tones of a higher register???

Greetings,
I have installed E9th tuning on my gront neck of my Fender double 8.
I was recomended to use a C6 tuning on the back.
Aren't the intervals about the same on these two?
So other than playing in a higher register, what is the advantage?
