MSA Semi-Classic, 3 pedals, 1 knee lever - ? Add a lever?

How likely is an old MSA Semi-Classic, 3 pedals, 1 knee lever, able to accommodate an additional knee lever to expand the function. Current lever drops 2 strings by 1/2 step.

Uke Richard, over on the Martin Forum, posted something about these little jewels with a link to this thread. After reading a few comments from you guys I went to Ebay and hit the buy button on what was supposedly the last day they were being sold at that price. I had great communication from Vicky ...

Thanks Kevin! Very kind of you... even nicer than John, since you are interested in charity instead of self enrichment.
So I couldn't put any kind of value for the donation on my taxes? Dang!

I could be coaxed out of the set... :D Doug, You are the only person I've come across who's even SEEN, let alone had those pedals. Mine is noisy, but it's not used. I use a regular old EB when I've played the steel in the past. The pots on the steel, on the other hand, sound pretty good & the pi...

I have an 8 string National that looks identical to Freddie's, except that it has the Roman Numeral fret markers.

Do you think it is also the 1010?

Thanks,

Replacement tuner buttons on old National?

Hi,
The plastic tuners on an old National lap steel crumbled recently. Can the buttons be replaced or is it a matter of finding the entire tuner sets? (3 on a plate).
Thanks,
Dave

I've never had that problem and I use a cheap 2" wide nylon strap. On the headstock end I use that little quick-detachable thingie (Planet Waves) which only has a 1/2" or less nylon strap going around the headstock. I think anchoring the instrument with the right hand through the strap doe...

SOLD - Fender Deluxe 6 Lap Steel SOLD - Delete

The 6 string version of the Deluxe 8 with trapezoid pickup. It has been suggested to me that this is probably from around 1956, but I don't know. It works great, looks very good (guitar) and has original tweed case (with damage). The color on my camera is not all that accurate, with the pic showing ...

I appreciate the input.
Do you have any idea what that virtually same guitar with the Supro label on it and having a matching MOT volume pedal might be worth?
Have you ever seen the National with matching pedal?
Thanks!

Help me value these in anticipation of putting up for sale

I am at a point where I might need to sell some instruments. I have these lap steels that you kind folks might help me to price. I have what I think is a 1956 Fender Deluxe 6 string with trapezoid pickup in VG condition with original tweed case which isn't in great condition. It is more cream/off-wh...

Fender lap

Thanks Brad! Great info to know. I think it's original color, just a bad camera shot. It's more blonde than stark white. It came in the tweed case, which unfortunately had sustained some water damage on one side (case, not guitar).

Any idea what these are worth?

Thanks againg,
Dave
