I am so sorry to hear a great steel player like Rudy has gone on,I never knew him only when our band would play at the Hunter Lodge once a month with Reggie Alley and the Night Hawks. RIP Rudy and my condolences goes out to his family.

I am looking for a steel player from the bay area he went by the name Jo Bob. Jo Bob is from Sunnyvale, California it's been a long time since I have talked to him. Jo Bob played with many bands in the bay area and also toured some with Spade Cooley. I am sure that Bobby Black knew him.
