Help! with Speaker Choices

I have been spending (er...wasting) way too much time looking at speaker replacement options for my Musicman HD130 212. I'm looking to double purpose the amp for steel and six string, but figure I should make the speaker choice with the steel in mind, since I can more easily add effects to shape the...

Ken, the problem with the Jensens is the Musicman is a 130 watt amp and the Jensens are only rated for 100. Maybe I'll look into the Telonics. Thanks, all!

Neo Speakers for Musicman HD130 212?

Hey Forum: I just bought a Musicman with the idea of using it for both my Sho Bud Pro 1 and Tele. I'm thinking about replacing the stock speakers with neo speakers to save some weight. Any suggestions?

They'll ship to the US and it's not bad. Good news is it's a brand new amp and with the neo speakers only weighs 40 pounds. I'm just looking for some sound advice--like what it sounds like for steel with the neo speakers. Thanks!

Anyone play a steel through the HD130 reissue with the Mark Neoclassic 212's in the cabinet? Looks like it's only available in Europe.

I'm a pedal steel and six string (Tele) player and looking at the HD130 212 to play through. I've seen the amp's been reissued, but only available in Europe. It's only 40 lbs, btw! Anyone by chance have any experience with the reissue? Also thinking about buying the HD130 reverb head and running it ...

National Chicagoan Lap Steel For Sale *SOLD*

Hi steelers. I have this really nice National lapsteel for sale. It's classic mother of toilet seat, with the fancy little notes on the fingerboard. It's in great shape--a real closet find--and has a sweet sound by itself, and a nice growl when overdriven. Everything is original except the tuners, w...

Thanks, folks. I think I'll give Ray's trick a try. Still mystified why the pedal goes to a full stop in one setup and not the other.

Yeah, that's how I'd like to run the chain, too. But my problem is that for some reason when I set it up this way the volume pedal (it is a 120 as well--don't know what I was thinking) doesn't shut off completely when I do. That's the problem I'm trying to solve. Anybody else got an idea?

Volume Pedal in the Signal Chain--Peavey Nashville 112

Hi gang. I have a question about the placement of my volume pedal (Goodrich L100) in the signal chain. The 112 manual suggests I run the volume pedal in and out of the Pre-EQ Patch and run the steel directly into the high gain input. When I do that, though, the volume pedal doesn't go all the way of...

OK, here's another L120 related question--and don't make fun of me. It's early and the coffee hasn't kicked in yet.

I need to replace the pot. How do I get the bottom (or the top, for that matter) of the pedal off so I can get to the pot? It's perplexing me like crazy.

Tuning Nuts for Sho Bud Pro 1?

Hey--anybody help me out in figuring out which tuning nuts to get for my Pro 1? I finally figured out the George L shop was the place to go, but then I have to decide whether 3/32 or 1/8 inch rod. Which is it? Thanks as always.

Hey, my two cents is that Fogerty can do anything he wants at this point--kinda like Springsteen or McCartney, I 'spose. Call 'em barroom jam songs or whatever, but they're great tunes played by a superb band--Greg Leisz's steel playing is just gorgeous (anybody want to tab it out???), Buddy Miller'...
