David, I put a jumper wire on the remote jack and I couldn't tell any difference. Thanks for the suggestion.

Nashville 112 reverb question

Do you need some sort of foot switch to get the reverb to work? I've had this amp for a few years and never really heard the reverb work.

A few years ago I was listening to an album of hymns that my friend had made. He had someone play steel along with the hymns and I thought that sounded great! I guess my awareness for the pedal steel guitar had awakened at that time.

Bought my first pedal steel at 54 and I am still confused at 56.(Pretty sure it's the guitar causing the confusion) Wouldn't give it up though!

Yes, I know Big Joe. Met him several years ago. I have both of the Tim McCasland tapes and Bruce Bouton and I do have the Winnie Winston book. What I lack is some more discipline. I have a Maverick I bought in St Paul a couple years ago.
Thanks for the warm welcome, people!

Hi to all. I recently joined and am trying to learn the art of the pedal steel guitar. Kind of frustrating. There isn't a teacher around to show me the moves. I put an ad for a teacher in the local music store a few months ago but no calls yet. I am struggling with a good book and a couple of videos...
