Thanks Jerry, After lots of research, I believe we have a very nice bar. We have them polished before chroming, and another treatment after the chroming. This is not "cosmetic chroming", it is "hardened chrome". Until now, I didn't know the difference. Only a 10 string availabe r...

Mike Johnson, Best of Gene Watson

My friend Mike just gave me the Gene Watson stuff he worked on with Sonny, recently. All I can say is WOW. Excellent treatment of the early classic Watson hit's by Mike, and Sonny did the hit's he played on. Great tone, and they stayed true to the early production. Proud to have Mike using our guita...

We were there too, for the Georgette Jones tribute to Tammy, and I saw Goldie, again. As you can see the raised fret-boards, which would have been added much later to the guitar. Duane Marrs drove Pete and his manager to the airport for the trip to England, to record with the Beatles. It was indeed ...

Paul is exactly right. That is NOT Goldie. Goldie is in the new Country Music Hall of Fame. And, no Kevin, Duane did not service the guitar, I did. I did it as a courtesy for Rose Drake, and she in return let me record with it, at Larry Marrs studio, with Pete's Sho-Bud amp. and volume pedal. I also...

Yes, it may have been the first time for Tommy with the Time Jumpers, but, I couldn't tell, and apparently the Time Jumpers couldn't either. Within a few seconds of ANY song, Tommy was playing harmony parts, with 3 fiddles, Vince and Andy. Just as another note, had Vince or Andy handed him their gui...

This song starts off the new Show Pro CD. Lloyd spent countless hours perfecting this piece. It may be one of his finest instrumental pieces yet. Russ Pahl and Billy Sanford of Don's past band and sessions, were kind enough to help compile the work.
We'll have plenty of copies in St.Louis.
