Ken, that looks like a good deal. I've got a drawer full of picks that I won't wear. But I ask you what do you recommend as for flat or round? The aren't all that expensive compared to my Pro-Piks. I think I'll give some of that New Skin a shot also. I'm just about all healed up again and should be ...

Thanks to Joe and James. With the ProPiks I can keep them fairly loose and not get to much pressure. I haven't tried to use the shrink tube yet but it just so happens that I have some here and will try it for a few days to see what happens

Hi Terry, I'm pretty slow at the learning thing but after having taken some pro lessons I can see your point.
I see that you use a 12 string so I question how that will work on my d-10 bud.

Tripoly Black

Tripoly Black and then another round of Tripoly brown. I just finished my Pro 2 and for a left handed screwdriver type person it looks pretty good. I do advise that you tie back any long hair if you're going to use a dremel on small parts and your eyes are as bad as mine. I have a one inch round bal...

Nothin new

Dave, not trying to put your effort down. But I'd much rather that you start at the beginning. Seems everyone is out there trying to make a buck at the expense of the newcomer, with few exceptions that will do their lessons on u-tube or some other site for free. As a newcomer to this instrument with...

Ken you just blew me out of the water on that one. I thought these were original legs and decided not to cut them up. If these are not orig. then it's of to the lath for a 2" bob. that saved me enough money to ask another question. I would like to mount the RKL & RKR closer to the 10 string...

I just heard from Joe Wright about his new setup using Live video cameras. If you figure what it cost me per half hour in NH at $25.00/half hour and figured in # hours travel {round trip}plus the two hours I had to leave early to get an available time, It was about ninety dollars / half hour. When th...
