(Maybe someone knows for sure who is playing steel on there?)

Rabbie Burns would have been proud . . . . .

Although it's well over 200 years ago, if youtube had been available in the 1780s/90s I'm sure Rabbie Burns would have been very pleased with what he'd have heard had he clicked on THIS LINK.

It's just a girl's voice and a guitar.

. . . . . And not much steel in the song either. If I wanna hear more steel guitar intensive country music, I've got Charley Pride's 'Wonder Could I Live There' Leslie, you're right ~ there isn't a lot of steel on the track, and that was one of Pete Drake's hallmarks. He was definitely one steel pl...

Steel Guitar Anthem . . .

I've had this song on a Tammy Wynette vinyl "LP" since the early 1970's and more or less from when I first heard it, it's been something of a personal anthem for steel guitar. To hear what I'm on about, CLICK HERE. Pete Drake on steel ? ~ but if anyone knows differently let us know. Well ~...

Re: Springfield Guitars

Jimmy ~ at present there are 7,244 members on this forum and I'm pretty sure that most of them have little knowledge of the workings of the pulling system on your steels. Some may have been intrigued when they read the following : . . . . it is a bit unusual in design, but very accurate and pulls an...
