Has anyone ever come up with an effect or combination of effects to simulate a trumpet? I've tabbed out the trumpet licks for Johnny Duncan's "Stranger". Right now I'm just going up and down the neck using just strings 3 and 4. It sound kinda ok but I'd like to get closer if possible.

Ricky, I did the tab you have posted from the Ricky & Rebel site. I feel real comfortable with it as I learned it from PF himself.

This tab goes with a version done by David Kersh from back in the 90's.
