WTB Peterson VSII or Strobo-flip Tuner
I would like a Peterson VSII or Stroboflip tuner. I am a permanent and totally disabled Vet teaching myself how to play. I live on disability alone so money is dear to me, and the only tuners I have seen are either gone if the price is reasonable or too expensive if they are still there. I can get a...

Thank you for your thoughts
I am using a quick fix for now, and ordering new clutch pieces for a permanent solution.
Thanks to all of you for your comments, ALL were appreciated.
Today I am officially middle aged, it is my 55th birthday. I keep saying that I am going to live forever, and so far, so good!

Is there a way to keep front legs from collapsing?
I have a 74 MSA 12 Classic that I have made into an extended E9. It was way too tall for me so I removed the 2" lift kit. The front legs were fixed with a hole drilled through and a screw/nut in it. Since I need to be able to level the guitar with those legs, is there a way to refurbish the clu...

Owners Manual?
Do you have any documentation (especially a schematic) on this pedal? If so, I would gladly pay to get a copy since I have a pedal just like this one with no manual.
Thank you,

I Found the problem - now for the solution
Jon Light sent me an email telling me what probably happened. I checked it and he as correct. The front legs collapsed causing the pedals to sit flat on the ground. I pulled them out again, it was fine until I actually pressed the pedal with my foot and it collapsed. My first thought was to take a s...

It WAS a simple fix.... Now I know - Thanks to you all!
I am trying to learn to play the PSG. I bought a S12 MSA Classic in a pawn shop mainly because the Pedals are in the 3,4 & 5 position and easier for me to use. I set it up for Extended E9 (at least I tuned the strings for it) The problem is that the pedals now hit the floor when I depress them n...

GFI Ultra
I own a Red GFI Ultra 5x5 and have not had a singlle problem with it. It weighs about half of what my MCI D10 does. Can't say enough good about them - they are a well built smooth action instrument with fantastic customer support!

We can negotiate - or - Trade for the stroboflip.
Willing to negotiate for the strobo-flip, but come - on, I just can't imagine paying 75% (or More) of the original value[$199.99 shipped - Musicians Friend] for a used piece of equipment that could have an issue or two :whoa: :whoa: They are not selling at that price in the classified section, so wh...

WTB Strobo-Flip Tuner
I really need a strobo-flip tuner, but I can't afford the $199 for a new one. I have a Turbo-Tuner, which works very well for Steel and Electric Guitars, but I need to tune a Dobro and the Stroboflip not only has the tunings, it has the attachment to stick on the guitar, and I sold my acoustic-elect...

My 'Druthers on a Dream Guitar
Being a new player - and I mean new, my dream guitar would have the AB&C pedals nearer the center (like the Maverick - they did have that idea long ago). Wide Spacing @3/8ths to help me from catching my picks, Custom Fret Boards with all the string #'s on them offset so that they are seen under ...

Thank you all for your thoughts ~ it is my first re-rod, so Pete, thank you especially for the lifeline! :D I have no real use for the U12, so it will probably be sold after I get it done. I inherited this from my wife's sister, who thought she would teach herself how to play. Unfortunately, the Cop...

Need Advice for setting up a U12
I have a Mullen U12 that had such a weird copedant that It was unplayable for the folks that tried it. There were no pulls on P3 or LKV, and FIVE pulls on P4, and that was the easy stuff. I received a new copedent for a U12 [Thanks b0b] and there were no existing pulls that matched the new setup, so...

What about Gospel Steel?
I read "Sales Fell" and did not once remember reading about Gospel or Sacred Steel being mentioned. For those who are familiar with the old [and new] Gospel favorites, find them with both a steel guitar in the band and without. IMHO, there is no comparison - Gospel played with steel guitar...

Left Knee Levers
Larry, So if I am understanding you correctly, I should shift the left knee levers farther left to compensate? If your left knee levers are properly positioned it won't matter where the pedals are.
Thank you for your reply as well, and Allen I am also glad to read I am not alone.

Why have the pedals moved out instead of in?
When I see pictures of the old Sho~Buds the pedals were wider and the three pedals were just left of center. I have an MCI, GFI, and an Emmons and ALL of them place the first narrow pedal as far to the left that they can, forcing me to twist my left leg so that my foot covers A+B. As soon as I stop ...
