Johnny,
Did the guitar you have for sale come from Zum as pictured?
Obviously, the color is a red, but is it a certain red and does the texture have a certain name.
It certainly is beautiful.

Thanks,

Jack I've broken 10th strings on a single neck E-9, on SD10, and even a 10th string on my D10. I would venture to guess they where all from poor right hand technics ( putting too much wrist pressure on the strings) As Bob says, "try jagwires" I've used them in recent years, and haven't bro...

Jim I, like Al started on a flat-top with a raised nut. If I wanted to continue after 12 lessons on the flat- top, we had to buy a lap-steel. They offered two models, a Oahu 6 string w/a small tube amp for about $150.00 or a Fender 6 string w/a small amp. I took lessons for about two years, and dumb...

Dennis, My first guitar was a Maverick. Like you, I kept breaking the pot metal fingers. They are just about impossible to weld. I kept switching fingers untill I was down to the last ones. I owned a machine shop and fabrication business, so, I milled out a set out of stainless steel, installed and ...

I would not buy an Enco bench/mill. Had one and didn't like it. On a bench mill if you have to raise the head, it's hard to relocate your bench mark. There are plenty of Bridgeports and Bridgeport look-a-likes. Be sure to get one with an R-8 spindle. I had two Bridgeports and two look-a-likes. All f...

Brad, I think your right. In about 1992 we had a bad ice storm here on the Eastern Shore. From what I've heard it was either ice or heavy snow that torn the pavilion down, and they never reopened. I believe Ola Belle Reed and her brother, Alex Campbel owned the park. I understand they were kind of f...

Dave, Your absolutely right, in cloneing the Blue Grass way of presenting shows. The fire houses, VFW, Moose etc, and small festivals. Instead of complaining that the stations won't play there music, I have offen wondered why the George Jone's, Ray Price's and some of the great's of that era didn't ...

Keith,

I was playing a VFW last week, started losing signal
Ended up disconnecting reverb, delay and match box
Went from pedal to NV400 and like you, couldn't believe the sound, really clean. What I had been
looking for all this time. Proof-in-the-puddin,
will it sound that good next show.

I have a Sho-Bud LDG model and it has rubber pads over the pedals. Looks like emergency brake type.
They snap on like they where made to fit. I bought
the steel used and assumed they came that way.
