Nice case! Trans Continental Hardware (TCH) is also a good source for road case hardware, extrusion, ABS laminates, plywood, etc. I pick up all the hardware for my cases at the warehouse in Dallas (there are warehouses in Cleveland and Buffalo too), but you can order online through the web at www.tc...

Mine has Celestion Vintage 30's in it. Don't know if they are original, but since I bought it at a US Navy auction, I would think that they are.

I know that this may sound like the "cheap" way to go, but a Rolls PM50s is around $50. I bought one and put MagLight AA flashlight clips (around $10) on it so that it would attach to the leg of my steel so that I could use it as a backup or when somebody else needed to use my wireless set...

Have you tried the Line 6 Pocket Pod? A friend of mine just got one and uses it to practice 6 string on the couch as not to disturb the lady of the house. You can edit the presets and completely customize them to your liking by hooking up a USB cable and using the editing software on your computer(I...

Can anyone Identify this Evans Amp?

I used to own this amp, but sold it after not using it for a couple of years. Can anyone identify the make or model?

Nashville 400

Found one in a pawn shop for $160. I know it was worth it, and have since thought about the extremely intense super hot rod mod from Ken Fox. Anyone had one, and if so, what do you think about it?

Ken has worked on my effects and I love what he has done.

Thanks,

Rick

I have one for acoustic gigs, but.....haven't had time to read that 44 page manual yet... One of the cool things about it is that you can hook up a FS-5U or a FS-6 pedal, and use them to control tempo, stop etc. I got the bug to get one when I saw a buddy in Nashville do "Sultans of Swing"...

Headphones are different than ear monitors. Ear monitors provide a reduction in volume which will helps you isolate what you want to hear in your ear monitors, versus competing with other monitor mixes and stage volumes. Most head phones do not offer the isolation. I also agree with Keith. Be carefu...

I've been using in-ears since 1999/2000. I did this after going to the audiologist and discovering that I had a 30-40% hearing loss in my right ear from playing a small stage right beside the drum riser. So I bit the bullet and bought a wireless PSM-600 and custom buds from Futuresonics. Still use t...

UPDATE: Fender '65 Twin Reverb Stolen

Hello all, another sad story here, the Bendermobile was broken into on Saturday night at Woody's Tavern between the hours of 10:30 PM and 11:00 PM. What makes this amp so unique, is that it was in a showman head cabinet, not the normal Twin cabinet. Also, the reverb tank is mounted on the outside ba...

My apologies for not answering sooner. I spent Monday/Tuesday night at Baylor Med Ctr. and the rest of days at home. To all that who are interested, the price on the steel is $1600 FIRM. I paid $2000.00 from Richard Gonzalez just last year, the steel has never been gigged or even taken out of the ho...

Hal, Just sent you an e-mail.

Mike, I'm not sure which came first. I did talk to Mr. Anderson, and he told me that this guitar was build specifically for him, although I can't recall the year that he told me.

I have no clue as to the design change!

From running sound for years, I have come up with two additional labels for faders on my mixer. One, The SUCK Fader. This fader reduces the amount of SUCK that the band produces at any gig or performance. This fader should be run at Unity and pulled down when the band starts to SUCK. Two, the DFA (D...
