Jim, As Bill said with the levitt tuning you won't have to but, you can keep your tuning move up to the 12th fret and play the 2nd measure(the a-c notes)straight instead of slanting at the 9th fret...you probably know that though. Chuck

Hey Vincent, I had one of those also. My left side was gone from the head to the feet. Keep listening to your rehab people, and try to do what they tell you. Your brain will relearn, but it takes time. The wife and I are praying for you. Chuck

Frank, For 6 string E7th you can tune top to bottom E-B-G#-E-D-B In the 20's & 30's Dick McIntire changed the bottom 3 strings to D-B-E. For E6th 6 string I would use top to bottom E-C#-B-G#-E-C#.
