I knew I've heard this song in the 90's and that I have it in my record collection somewhere and I found the record almost at once. Dennis Robbins is the singer from the cd 'Man with a plan' with Rusty Young on the pedal steel.

Walter, this is the great Skeets McDonald with, I'm not sure, but my guess, Buddy E on steel.

It reminds me of a lp with a group called Cowboy Jazz. Their steeler were Barry Sless.

Buddy Emmons´ steel on Steve Young´s RCA album Renegade Picker from 1976. It can´t be much better than that! It´s my all time favorite album.
