Isn't Carter still building? John should just take notes while his boss talks. Mr. Carter literally told me the history of the instrument the last time I spoke with him. He never missed a stroke on the unit he was finishing up.

Chords and how to use them! Ted Greene's books really helped me. He was not a pedal steeler but he was a wonder; A great teacher and gifted player.

Sorry, a none steel reference, that A minor/C major point got me thinking. I learned to accept "chord choices" reading from Ted Greene. Greene wrote some very usefull books for guitar players. Ted was a wonder.

Thanks to one and all on this post, just what new steelers crave- stuff that works.
