Bobby: Thanks for having me on the show this year, I had a blast. The backup musicians were great, the crowd was very receptive to all the players. Bobby you played with so many different groups and fit right in with all of them, I guess thats why they call you an old pro huh? Don Lampley did you ev...

John Hughey

I know John will be playing the Legends on Saturday night March 9th. Does anyone know if he is playing there on Friday the 8th? Will be in Nashville 7,8,9, however the group I will be with has tickets to the opry on Saturday night.
thanks

Thanks Dave, I kind of expected that you would be back at the big house. I love the Ryman, the sound out in the audience is far superior than the big house to me. Also you are a lot closer to the performers which provides a lot nicer atmosphere IMHO.

Opry at Ryman

I was reviewing the opry schedule on their web site and to me it is a little misleading. One way to read the schedule is, they are still at the Ryman in March, then again one could read it as through Feb. Can someone tell me if they are at the Ryman in March. Thanks

Jim,
The speaker nameplate reads 15" JBL D130 Impedance 16 ohms. Any opinions on what kind of 15" speaker to use? Would a 4 ohm speaker improve the output power? Could I use 2 15" 4 ohm speakers in parallel to reduce the total impedance to 2 ohms? Thanks.

Super Reverb Amp

I just acquired a 67 blackface super reverb amp. The height of the cabinet has been cut down about 4 inches and a 15" JBL D130 installed. The D130 is 16 ohms and the schematic for the 4 10" spkrs is 2 ohms. My questions are as follows: 1. Due to the impedance mismatch, what kind of sound a...

I've been messing around with the following song, I don't know the name of the song or if it is a song. It seems to me I heard Jimmy Crawford play something like this about 6 or 7 years ago at St. Louis. I haven't a clue where the bridge goes. The following tab is what I came up with. Can anyone hel...
