After careful consideration and having heard back from most of you, I've decided to open this up for bids. I sincerely apologize if I've offended or inconvenienced anyone with all this confusion...certainly NOT my intention. I should've done more investigating beforehand, but I didn't. Since I make ...

OK guys, pictures are coming to you. (I'll post them here if someone will tell me how.) According to Reece (purely a guess because he hasn't seen it) I probably did undershoot the value of this guitar by quite a bit. Does it seem fair to entertain any higher offers? Thanks, Matt

I love this guitar, in fact I've sold it and bought it back once before. Truth is, in all that time I never really learned how to play it. Now I'm making my living on bass, and desperately need to update my rig. Heard from Reece, his best guess on a production date is early 1982. Pics coming as soon...

Here's some additional info: The serial number is: 1C6990, and it's "The Universal" model. I don't know the year model, or it's history. I bought it used at HOT Music in Temple about 20 years ago. Still charging my camera batteries...I'll try to get a pic up in the morning. I've gotten so ...

I found a beautiful used MSA U-12 8/4 in the case at HOT Music in Temple about 15 or 20 years ago for $800. Have sold it and bought it back a couple of times. Why? Maurice Anderson! It's still beautiful, it still works like brand new, I still can't play it.

Sorry for what I'm about to say fellas, I usually berate others for acting this way, but I've reached my limit. As anyone who knows me will tell you, I have a temper...and you're about to see it. I'm only doing this here, instead of in private because, once again, you're not getting the whole story....

Paul, you asked if there has been a turnover of other instruments as well, and the answer is no, at least not since I joined the band. Rocky (drums) and I came together from another act in Mar '04. Chad was originally just the guitar player/second vocalist, and John (bass) is still here. The previou...

I am Johnny Lee’s current piano player (and a steel “owner“), and I would like to add my two cents worth to this discussion. I recognize very few names in this discussion, and would surmise that most of you have no personal knowledge of the social dynamics involved in this particular instance. Not t...
