Oahu & Electar laps available
Any REASONABLE offer considered for a 1939 Electar Century (strong pickup,EC w/hsc) and a 36-38 Oahu in MUSEUM quality shape with original HSC. I'd rather sell them to a player than on ebay. Pics provided with email.
Thanks-Jeff

Electar, Oahu Lap Steels For Sale
They're fixing my hurricane damage next week and something's got to go. The Electar Century is 1937, in great shape w/original case and one replaced pot. - $375 I bought the Oahu because of it's condition, there's no corrosion on any metal and the finish looks new other than slight weather checking....

Tuner Buttons
Many of the instruments I see for sale have buttons that need replacing. Where do you get them and how do you replace them so they'll stand up to tuning pressure? Thanks-Jeff

My 30's Oahu (Tonemaster) arrived today. I tuned it to C6 with my tuner and with George. The strings seem very slack, much loser than my E tuned Electar. Is this normal? The strings seem to fit the nut well. I know this is a stupid question but I don't want to hurt this instrument. This will not be ...

I bought a regal about 5 years ago and shipped it to Paul beard to finish. Total cost was around $600. I'd probably go for the Gold Tone also. I wanted to play a roundneck at the Titusville shop and called in advance to set up a demo but they didn't have one in stock!!?? I sprung for a bit more and ...

Dobro Camp
I'm thinking of going to Steve Kaufmann's dobro camp this spring for some intensive instruction/jamming. I'm an old fart and don't have time to slide with others since I play bass and guitar in my church band. Do you think that the dobro lessons will transfer to my lap steel playing? Anyone have exp...

C6 Tuning
I'm a beginner at C6 tuning. My Cashdollar video says it's CEGACE and chord finder says it's CGCGAE. What's up? Thanks-JeffS
