Well boys, Gary's tuner is still available.
I wrote him an email with my apology for hopping on it too quickly.

Any of you needing a tuner, step up, this one deserves a home.

Apologies to all for jumping the gun.

Rick built me a custom extension cabinet a while back to match my DeluxeVerb. I'm here to say it's better than flawless. It matches my '64 to the letter (now that I aresol-coffeed the grill)- and sounds as good as it looks.
You can't beat Rick's stuff.

Cliff 'don't know if this eBay case fits the Professional, but like the seller says - "hard to find". He gives the dimensions. I've been waiting for the case set for a Fender 1000 to show up. Talk about rare. JP http://cgi.ebay.com/Early-60s-Fender-Steel-Guitar-case-white-tolex-lap_W0QQite...

Do your controllers come with the power source? If so, that truly is a great deal and I'll take one. It'd be great if you know the whereabouts of a manual as well.

Thanks for the input. I'm betting the rods for stamped pedals are different. The cast pedals have a nipple fitting, midway at right angles that the rod end "loops" over and a little sliding spring loaded "lock" grabs the grove on the nipple. An ingenious coupling everyone enjoys....

Fender 1000 pull rods wanted

Need two - more if you got'em. The kind that fit the black cast pedals. Don't let me use coathangers. It's just not right.

WTB parts to restore early 60s 1000

Help. I need 2 cast pedals/pull-rods and both cases for my Fender 1000.. Actually, I could use any or all of of those spare Fender parts somebody stashed in their garage. I'm restoring this so I can play it - not sell it. Parts, suggestions and help appreciated. JP<font size="1" color=&quo...
