It's an EH 125 as far as I know. I got it a while ago and I recall it being the next one down from the Gibson with the Charlie Christian pickup, the EH 150.

That's a great question. Hopefully I'll get a hold of Chuck. Does anyone know if the cell number listed on his website is currently the best way to get in touch?

Can anyone tell me the value of this Desert Rose?

Sadly, I'm yet another statistic...a guitar player that had dreams of being a pedal steel player. I've watched this steel sit virtually unplayed for the past 6 years and it's time for it to find a new home. I bought it directly from Chuck in November 2004. He had gotten it in on a trade from someone...

I should add that anywhere between Old Saybrook and New Haven is on my path of daily travel.

Looking for lessons in the New Haven, CT area

Are there any lap steel teachers in the area? I'm interested in taking some lessons to get me going.

Let me know.

Any suggestions for where I can find E6 chord charts? Just the basic movable major and minor formations.

It's sounding like I should stick with E9 for the pedal steel. That's the tuning I have been hacking away on anyways...so I am already familiar with it. I got into the pedal steel specifically for that lonesome, crying sound. Maybe for lap I'll use standard guitar tuning (which would be the easiest ...

What is a good crossover tuning for both lap and pedal steel

I just posted this in the lap steel section as well: I own both and dabble, but am primarily a guitar player. I'd like to devote some more time to get somewhat proficient at both lap and pedal. Is there a tuning that I could use for both a 6 string lap and an 8 string pedal? I don't think I have the...

Just insist on a postal money order. Cashier's checks are always used in the scams - the check clears, you get the cash and mail the guitar, and then the bank holds you responsible when they find out that it was a scam. The scam emails always have an awkward "formality" about the way they ...

Fender Single 8

Early 60's Fender 8 string pedal steel. I think a 62 or 63. It has 3 floor pedals and 1 knee lever. The knee lever was a floor pedal that the previous owner converted. The lever works fine, but you have to really push on it. Probably would be better with just 4 pedals. Very good condition for its ag...
