When I got my 71 Emmons, it only had two knee levers, RKR lowered the E's, and LKR lowered the second string Eb to D. Then with help I had the E to F pull on RKL, changed the 2nd string to D and lower it to C# with the LKR.My 3rd pedal only has F# pull.I'm happy with it, don't plan on any more chang...

It was Willie Nelson on the show last night. Not one of my favorites but it was better than nothing.I'm waiting for the one with Alvin Crow and the Pleasent Valley Boys and maybe see a young Herbster playing steel. Will have to stay glued for that show.I don't know how many times Alvin Crow played on...

Jussi, one other thing, I first met Jay Decker in late 1969. I stopped in the Montana Club one evening for a few brews and Jay was up there banging away and I noticed that one of his pedal rods was made from a coat hanger. Does this guitar have a coat hanger for a pedal rod or are all the original p...

Jussi, you mentioned that the name Jay Decker was on the front of your steel.I knew a Jay Decker in Alaska, and he use to play at the old Montana Club and played what I believe was a triple neck Wright Custom. This was back in the early 70's, and even then the guitar looked very wobbly up on the sta...

David, I'm so glad you love the clear sounds of your CD's. I started at an early age with 78's, then they came out with the 45's, which meant a new record player. Then RCA came out with an automatic 45 changer player, which I had to plug into my Sears guitar amp. Then Hi Fi came along and 33 1/3 albu...

Okay people it's time to burn the midnight oil again.I have a Warner Bros. 45 RPM of Fats Domino singing a song titled "Whiskey Heaven" that is real down to earth honky tonk, pauses for the causes, and covorting around country music. To me Fats could do wicked Rock and Roll, plus Blues but ...

I have a Stoneway 45 RPM stereo/mono record, dated 1976 titled "Big Beaver" a Western Swing song by Dick Allen and The River Road Boys. Anyone ever hear of them and who may have played steel on it.With the deepness of the steel guitar sound I beleive he was using a Bb6th tuning.
