Price reduced.

I have cut the price in half if anyone is needing this case. I no longer need it and would love to see someone in need have it.

Calzone S10 Flight Case

I have an S10 flight case made by Calzone for sale. I originally purchased it off this forum. I carried a Carter S10 and supplemented any gap in the packing with foam. Great condition. $150.00 plus shipping. It has casters so it can be carried or pulled. It weighs 50lbs. The approximate outside dime...

It was so cool to see steel on the stage. I love the way they are putting the backup singers and musicians on stage wit the idols this year. It is also nice to see country music being encouraged and showcased. Awesome show tonight.

I have to say that I am enjoying this season more than any and I have watched them all. The talent is phenominal this year and I see country music being encouraged and showcased. It was awesome to see steel on the stage with Scotty last night. Scotty, Pia, Casey and Lauren are all very good. I had n...

I am always surprised that in most of the threads that refer to concerts; most of the replys have to do with rock concerts. Did any of you steel players listen to country music??? Just kidding....but my observation is accurate.

I have seen a lot of concerts but two of them stand out from the rest. I am not positive of the years but they are: Buck Owens in 64/66 time frame. That one concert began my love afair with performing in a band and the steel guitar. Charlie Pride, who lived here at that time, performed one song as d...

The 1987 "Legends" tour brought back memories to me. I was working backstage when Merle, George and Conway came to Great Falls. I have three memories of that night. First, I met George who was an absolute gentleman. And he is shorter than me. Second, Merle's manager asked me to keep all th...

Our band has opened for several "big name" acts and for the most part they have been positive experiences. Most were great guys. A couple, not so great. My favorite story as an opening act was when we were playing with a well established act out of the 80s and 90s at our local big event ar...

That is a very good question and the answers should be interesting. I always chose to and did have a full time job. I kind of envied the musicians that could play every night and have, what appeared to be, a very easy and fun lifestyle. I could not imagine how good life would be to play music at nig...

Retired as a police Lt. at the age of 41 nearly 16 years ago and have worked for the MT Dept of Justice ever since specializing in health care fraud. Retired from the USAF OSI Reserves. I've got to find a way to get a county retirement. Been a weekend warrior the entire time.

My personal observation was this was one of the most entertaining nationally broadcast shows featuring county music that I have seen in years. Much better than the awards show for one reason....good country music. I thought the musicians were featured appropriatly. Would I have liked to have seen mo...

I remember Al Perry and "Love Sisters" as the house band at the J-T in Great Falls. Probably in the mid 70s. He also had a local tv show. He was the closest to big time I had ever seen at the time. I think he was a 3 piece band and he had 3 gals, hence the Love Sisters. I was pretty young ...

I agree Theresa. There will never be another Hag. I love his writing and singing but there is no denying Garth's showmanship. Garth has always impressed me with his humbleness and respect for the legends as well. There is plenty of room for both of them in my world.

I here what you guys are saying about the talent "in general" but are you saying that Gabe can't sing, or can't sing country? Man I would back that young man up anytime anywhere. You don't get much more country than that. I have to assume that most of these comments are about the other con...

I kind of enjoy watching the show just to see what is going on in Nashville. And to see the "perceived" stars of tomorrow. I have to say that nobody there puts our band vocalists to shame so that is a good thing! I really like Gabe. He would be fun to back any time. Now, my rant....John Ri...

Don't need one. I am authorized to carry a handgun all the time since I am in law enforcment. But the thing is, I very seldom carry it. Intersting discussion. I am 56 and play in a band where the next youngest guys is 50. (six piece band) We play as often as we want but typically do about 2 gigs per month. I don't think you will see steel front and center like some decades past. I have watched the Wilburn Bros on RFD and the steel totally stole the show. Very little lead guitar. Those days may be gone but there is still alot of steel out there. It almost seems to me that the bands that have steel are ...
