But Jay, it's collectible! You can sit and look at it on the shelf, any time you want to....for only $330.00 plus shipping. I still don't get the "antique wire collector" thing. I can understand an interest in collecting stamps, coins, dolls, guitars, toys, guns and even rusty old barbed w...

I'm baffled! It appears that "vintage useless wire collecting" is a bigger deal than I would have thought. There's a roll here> http://cgi.ebay.com/Vtg-Spool-Western-Electric-Switchboard-Wire-Cloth-3-5lb-/220758248048?pt=Vintage_Electronics_R2&hash=item3366378a70 that recently sold on ...

Vintage switchboard wire for amp building?

Are boutique/vintage amp builders seeking vintage cloth-wrapped switchboard wire? (see photo) I'm guessing that's why it's bringing big bucks on ebay????? I saw one ad that mentioned "vintage wire collectors"...I can't imagine that someone would collect old wire just for grins. The metal s...

Thanks Blake! The Duncan site is where I went first for a wiring diagram for 2-HB pickups, 2-vol, 2-tone and one 3-way switch for pickup selection.

I feel sure that its just wired wrong. I'm going to pull the wiring and see what I have.

Thanks again! - GP

dual humbucker wiring problem

I have a guitar with 2 humbuckers, 2 vol & 2 tone pots and a 3-way pickup selector. When both pickups are selected, turning either of the pickups vol down to 0 cuts off the other pickup too. I can't picture in my feeble mind how that's happening....seems to me it shouldn't. The wiring is as it c...

<b>JOLYNYK</b> - Insured priority mail to Zip 78537 in Texas will be $5.95...parcel post is 25 cents cheaper at $5.70. Insurance is $2.25 extra, but I'll pay the insurance. I tried another wall wart and only got a loud hum, but it still works with a battery. In order to keep the shipping weight down...

SOLD - Please close - donation will be made to forum. Thanks

I tried the pedal and it works fine with a battery, but I couldn't get it to work with a wall wart. I don't have a boss power supply but tried it with a couple of 9-volt dc wall warts that had a plug that seemed to fit the input ok but it didn't work (one had a + tip, the other wasn't marked, so I'm...

Please close - sold locally - b0b, I'll donate anyhow

I got this amp a couple of years or so ago in a trade with forumite Jim Sliff. I looked up the serial # (A 48341) and believe it's a 1975 model. It's in very decent condition and works fine. The speaker is a Weber Signature Series. There is a small tear in the grill cloth (circled in photo). The tol...

Please close..no interest - Sell/trade Peavey Reactor AX

For sale or would like to trade for an Ibanez 335 type copy, A 1996, USA-made Peavey Reactor AX (tele copy). The guitar is very clean except for normal swirl marks here and there from being handled and played, a ding on the edge of the lower bout near the pickup switch (about the size of a BB - see ...

Found one, please close - Wanted - Ibanez 335 copy guitar

I like to trade for an Ibanez 335 copy guitar. I have a nice Peavey Reactor AX W/hard case, a '75 Fender Champ (I got the champ from forumite Jim Sliff) and a Boss dd-2 (Japan) delay pedal that I could part with. I have a few other music items to trade also. Let me know what you have and what you mi...

Thought I had is sold locally but the deal fell through, so here it is. For sale or trade (really rather trade), a USA-made 1983 Peavey T-27 guitar w/OHSC. The guitar is in excellent condition with only a few very minor dings/scratches. I've posted a link to closeup photos showing them. The scale le...

F/S Vintage Supro/National Amp owner's manual

This manual was in the case with an old Oahu lap steel I once owned. It's intact, but has some rust marks from having been stored a long time in the case with the guitar. It measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and is 8 pages including the covers. I'm asking $15.00, postage included, to a U.S.A addres...

Brad, below is a photo of the tag on the unit. The Max K.V.A. is 1.3 (looks like 13 in the photo). There is no info on the last line on the tag (spec.).
