Yamaha SA800- Nice Gibson clone

I am selling my 1982 Yamaha Sa-800 which I bought on the Forum a few years back. This guitar was made in Japan and the quality is higher than similar Yamaha's manufactured elsewhere. This is a nice guitar and is a pretty good ES-335 clone for a fraction of the Gibson price. Ask anyone who owns one. ...

Yamaha guitar

I bought this guitar from Bob a few years ago.
I would be willing to sell it, as I am looking for a Tele.

The guitar is very nice and just as Bob described it.

For what it's worth -Great guitar

I have never played this particular (Nick's) guitar, but I have one of these Gretsch's.

At first, I was afraid to try one because they aren't made in America. I'm glad I tried one. They are great guitars and I love playing mine. They have great sound. Try one and see if you agree.

Deering comment

I have a Maple Blossom and they are great banjos.

I haven't heard David's banjo, but new ones are around $3000, so the price is really good.

old vs new gretsch country gentlemen question

Can anyone comment on the newer Japanese Gretsch Country Gentlemans (e.g.G6122-1958)compared to the guitars from the 1970's?

Thanks.

Peter- Thanks for the humor.

Carl-Thanks for reminding us about priorities. Thanks for reminding us about eternal destinies. I, for one, am always glad when someone cares enough about me to tell me things that I need to hear.
God Bless.

Thanks for posting this. I have ben a Tom Brumley fan since the 60's. He is great!!

Also, if anyone out there has never heard them, check out the live concerts with Buck Owens at Carnegie Hall and Buck Owens in Tokyo and hear Tom at work. Very tasteful.
