I have the Infinity Universal, pedal action is a dream, Frank has a special changer he invented, uses rollers for smooth feel. Love this guitar.

Ray, I thought that might be Johnny F. I didn't recognize Steve, but I should have. I believe he still lives in Milwaukie around the corner from where I used to live. I ahve not found a trace of my old tripple neck Magnatone, but would like to. Michael, I was not on those tunes, I joined the rambler...

Dwight, Do you have a closeup pic of the pickup, and the changer? My MSA looks like yours, but I have played it to death and my changer is getting tired. I imagine your changer is able to do two up or down on each string? My 4 knee levers are LKL LKR RKR RKL. I would have to fashion another LKR to r...

Bob, I am not an expert on capacitors, but I usually replace all the electolytics in my Nashville 400 every 4 or 5 years. They can dry out and affect your sound. Every time I change them out, the amp sounds better. This may be similar to a car wash, that is, my car seems to run better after a wash a...

Doug, I have an IVL SteelRider, they don't make the unit any more and I worry that someday it will fail. I too have thought that one could use two 6 string pickups and two of the 6 string converters. Problem might be the freqency of the 6 lower strings would not work well because the converter would...

My sound has always been warm and fat and thus always had trouble cutting through to match the lead guitar player. Recently I installed the upgrade kit from Peavy and now my Nashville 400 does the dance. It has given me the warm fat sound and the highs are smooth and silky. I am very happy with this...

Kiyoshi I have been playing U12 for 25 years and Played a single E9 for the first 25. I love the E9/B6. I think of my guitar as one tuning, that is, it is capable of E9 sounds and C6 sounds. try not to think of it as two different tunings. Most of the time I start out playing E9 stuff and there will...
