Thanks for the info. And I like the idea of putting a little hole in the cover too.

I was hoping I wouldn't need to untie that string but I don't have it in front of me and maybe I wont have to. I remember that loop looked kinda tricky though.

I have an old (12yr?) goodrich pedal, one of the low profile ones, that I'd like to use again but it's scratchy sounding. I'm wondering what the going rate is for a 10 year old Zumsteel S-10 3x5. Its in great shape, just been sitting in the case for the last 6 years. Black mica. I searched through the old buy & sell postings and only saw one, where somebody was asking $1500, no idea if he got it or not. Anyone know...
