You are correct. The "house band" steel player was Jerry Byrd who was faking it while I played the song with Lynn Anderson off camera. It was either the Ralph Emery show or Bobby Lord show in 1967.

I see Jerry Byrd sitting there,....but on this song,I'm pretty sure its Lloyd playing. Look to the far right at the begining and at the end of the vid with a blue jacket on. Rog

I just installed Truetone pick-ups in my Emmons Legrange......I can't believe the difference in tone.....Considering the price of steel guitars, changing out these pick-ups is a very inexpensive upgrade..I would highly recommend these pick-ups to anyone,...Thanks for the great product Jerry... http:...
