I should have put incase I decide to bid. Looks like it will probably be ending at a price way over what my budget will allow. For some reason I thought the listing was ending today. It is a beauty though. If it stays under a grand, maybe I'll try to sneak in a bid at the last minute. Thanks so muc...

I think that price is very reasonable price for a BRAND NEW (not used) Black Lighning w/case. It is beautiful and sounds fantastic. And the fact you get to deal with an honest and very reputable person that stands behind EVERYTHING he sells. Although Folk of the Woods IS {deleted}. it does not come ...

I own a Roustabout. I got it because of the price and I was just getting back into playing. I also have a Regal resonator. But I still like the Roustabout. It is a good playing little acoustic steel. Plus it has personality. http://steelguitarforum.com/smile.gif As far as vs. a dobro, the sound will...

Hey Ron. I taught standard acoustic years ago at a local YMCA. I have taught a few of my friends children a year or so back. Teaching children was always easier for me. They are just more open minded sometimes. You usually sign them up for a six week program. You could have it where you teach a clas...

I don't understand basilh, are you saying you want Chuck to send you a replacement without you returning the original one he shipped first? For some reason that doesn't make sense to me. If I want to exchange anything at a store or anywhere. I couldn't see them letting me, without first handing over...

Hey Justin. That Roustabout isn't real loud. We have a little travel trailer out on some land in Wills Point and I take that Raustabout out there. It is small and easy to carry around. It isn't as loud as my Regal. But it is a standard not a Resonator. As far as the strings I still have the original...

Hey Richard I'm sorry. I thought you were talkin' about the bar. There is a black on that is extra hard. Duh.. brain burp. It is Metal with a powder coating.
Kinda sticks in my hand but not to the strings.
I'm not sure how they make it.

Thanks Stephen.
I'm doin okay with the Stevens. Image
But I still like the Rajah I can't put it away.
It works great for me. I like the round tip too.
So I will use both depending on what music I am playing.

Hey Richard. It just looks plastic. It is coated black. How do you like playing it? And the sound? I don't know much about Reso's, but I don't think a plastic spider would work at all.
[This message was edited by Cindy Burch on 31 October 2003 at...

Thanks everyone for the great info. I think I will stick with the RD45. I like the wider string spacing and the tone quality is fine for the price. I don't think I will do any upgrading. For a beginner it is okay. If I want to spend more money it will be MUCH later. http://steelguitarforum.com/smile...
