In defense of the MSA team. The Covid 19 restrictions have not been kind to them either. As for the rest of us, not many of us have played much since March and Steel Guitar shows have been canceled. I have other guitars and the need for a new one is not really that urgent. The new MSA I am sure will...

I was told when I ordered a Legend s-12 that wait time was 8 months. It has been nearly two years. Kyle is sometimes hard to get a hold of but always says it will be soon. Kyle even offered to refund my deposit but I said no, I want the guitar. He did call me recently and said some of the parts are ...

There was some concern on delivery time. I ordered mine on Oct 18 and got it today (Oct 22). That is as good as it gets, I think. I've just played with it just a little but using preset 3 it sounds pretty good. I haven't really experimented with it much yet.

A few years ago, at Scotty's Convention, I sat at a table having lunch with Tom Palmer of D2f covers and Bud Carter. They were talking and all I had to do was listen and learn. Bud mentioned he came up with what is now called the all pull changer and everyone told him there was no way it would work....

Mike Johnson's CD "Almost Midnight". Gene Watson sings "Take Me As I Am" and Mike plays an amazing solo in which he changes keys several times. That cut alone is worth the price of the CD.

I take them all off and clean everything up. Then I start at the bottom and work toward the middle then go to the top and work toward the middle. It's easier to get to the tuners without all those strings in the way. (Keyed guitar). Ron

I had a problem similar to that with mine in a Stereo Steel amp. I somehow messed it up by goofing around with it. If you call or E-mail Gerry Wallace at Walker Stereo Steel he can talk you thru it. It was something very simple but I've forgotten what it was. Good luck, Ron

I play about three shows a year. They are not a competition. If they were, I wouldn't do them. For me it's not so much about the music, but the good friends and other good people you meet (Jim Cohen being one of them)

Guitar is sold. There was nothing confederate intended. I just liked the two tone idea and the redneck comment was just because it has a red neck. Donation on its way.

I ordered it that way. It includes the Heavy Duty case.(No wheels though). I haven't played in bands regularly for several years. I guess I outgrew the rat race. I do a few Steel Guitar Shows a year and a half dozen gigs. This guitar has been set up at home for a while. I don't need three guitars fo...

Jeff Newman's advice for 12 string Universal players: If you can't get a 12 string set, get a C6th set and get a .013 and a .015 for the top two strings. I don't know if there is a price advantage or not, but the gauges work out very close giving you a .012 for the third string. Check it out.

Talk to Bill or Tim Rudolph at Williams Guitar Co. Theirs is a short, tight lever under the center of the guitar. You can put it on any pulls you want. I have it on three Williams guitars but should work on any all pull guitar. It works well.
