fly line is the ticket it is plastic coated
nylon won't slip and won't break I've been using
it for 40yrs never ever broke one about 15dollars for 100yds

A very sad day indeed Eddie was an inovater and a master craftsman. He was not happy unless he did it himself. He once told me that the only part of the steelguitar he didn't make himself were the keys and he could have made those to if had wanted to. You will be missed by all of us in the steelguit...

the raise helper springs will cause the strings not to come back in tune particularly on strings 4&8 when they
are raised and lowered. I took all the raise helper
off the guitar you don't need them.......

Hi Mike
If you are raising and lowering the 6th string and
it is not coming back to pitch it could be the raising
helper springs if they are attached to the 3rd and 6th strings.Just remove them. Should cure the problem.....

I have been using flyfishing line for 40 years and have
never broke it.....

It sounds like an envelope filter to me I think MXR made
them.....
