Hi Tom, what is the charge for attending, and will you be posting a line-up for Friday and Saturday. Booked my hotel, and looking forward to hear some great playing. It has been a few years since I last attended a steel show.
Thanks for any information that you can pass along.

Having been a Ray Price fan for many years, I first heard this song in Dallas. It was being done by Ralph Mooney and Ronnie Dale on vocal. I was surprised that I had not known about this song, and I spent some time searching for Ray's version. I have it on a CD of his hits, as well as a duet with hi...

I first met Dean at the Dallas Show. It was my first visit to a steel guitar show, and he was one of the very first persons that I met there. I saw and talked with him many times in St. Louis, and Dallas whenever I went to the shows. He was one of the best fiddle players, and I would place him in th...

Haven't posted in awhile, but this is an interesting question. I would say that Buddy Emmons playing of Canon in D is among my top favorites. Tom Brumley on Together Again, and Neosho Waltz, and the solo on I Sang Dixie. Too many others to mention. All of the past and present players have offered ve...

tab and chords for Neosho Waltz by Tom Brumley.
Looking for tab and chords for Neosho Waltx by Tom Brumley. Also any tab for Dana's Waltz, and Tracy's Waltz. A friend of mine is playing them, but no one he plays with knows the tune(s), so I need the chords to play rhythm with him. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dennis
Thanks,
Dennis

I talked to Dick and Lois last November on their anniversary. Both were in good health and working a gig now and then. Haven't talked to them lately, but they quit going to Dallas some years ago, with cost of the trip and little sales being a major factor, as well as getting up in age. They are two ...

Glad to hear the good news. I know how difficult it is to put together a great show. Having helped create the Minnesota Steel Guitar Association and working to showcase our talent here, it was always a hard job to get the work done. Working for a year to make the best show you can, demanded time and...

Thanks to all of you that have undertaken to help me locate this song. I was at a local music store in Minneapolis, probably the biggest one in town, and looked through their entire music section, including fake books, and it could not be found. I had one of the clerks there look for me, and he coul...

Sheet music for Farewell Party
Have tried to find the sheet music for Farewell Party, but have been able to find it on the internet. If anyone has the sheet music, and could send me a scan of it, I would appreciate it, or point me to a book that might have the song in the book. I don't want the tab, as I want to try and play the ...

My friend Ken Hippler has a radio show on KFAI.org on Saturday afternoon in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. This coming Saturday, Dec. 3, he will be playing a tribute show to the music and artists of the Bakersfield sound. The show is on the internet from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm central time, so if you wa...

When I took the pictures, the third pedal was not attached. It is on the guitar, as I saw it yesterday. The pictures didn't take in the full length of the guitar, so you can't see the four knee levers. They are all present. You can call Bill at the number listed and he can give you more details. Tha...

Home made S10 for sale.
My friend Bill Lane has built his last steel guitar and it is for sale. He has to sell it, not because he wants to, but he has no need for having 3 guitars. This is a bargain for someone wanting to start out with a single 10 string, 3 pedal, 4 knee guitar. He is asking $400.00, with case, and you pa...

Just saw Dale at Lee's a couple of weeks ago. Great show and the place was packed. Dale has a great following in Minnesota. Lee's is under new ownership and will be remodeling the whole place this month. Don't know how it will look, but it still is the best place for honky tonk music. Hope to see yo...
