Great to hear from you J.R. I don’t remember seeing you at the Dallas steel show this year. It is a great guitar but I’m trying to thin my herd a little bit. If someone don’t take it soon I’m going to pull it and keep it as my back sure appreciates it over my D-10’s!

This an early model Rains SD-10 4x5 but it has all the Gary Carpenter upgrades to bring it up to the specs of the latest models he built including the short pedal cross shafts, updated bushings and rubber posts behind the shafts. It’s in Day setup with the Franklin change at the 4th pedal position. ...

If I didn’t already have one of these I would buy it in a heartbeat ! You can’t go wrong with a Chuck Back guitar. They have great tone, play great and have some of the prettiest flame maple that can be found! Beautiful guitar!

I drove up from Oklahoma and met Dennis in Illinois yesterday and picked up the Sho-Bud. He’s a great guy to do business with. Has anyone tried the Simplifier DLX preamp for steel? I’m thinking about buying one to use with our band’s in ear rig as we’re running direct and not using amps. It’s a small pedal with eq, reverb, cabinet simulator, ect. If anyone has tried one I would appreciate some advice before I buy one! Thanks

Gary, Is this rack still available? Is it 4 or 5 spaces? From the side pic it looks wired for electric so does it have a strip inside. Are the jacks wired for speakers connectors or lines for signals. I'm very interested. Thanks, David Alexander
