What do you mean by "adjusting the pedals"? when you say the B pedal travels way too far for you what do you mean? Does it seem too close to the ground compared to the A & C pedals? If so, take a look at the pedals on most pedal steels & you will see more often than not the B pedal...

plug your guitar directly into your amp & see if the same thing happens. if not then check all your cables & your volume pedal...could be the volume pot taking a dive.

I would love to hear some ideas on what some of yall do--more of the memphis and chicago style blues. Not turning up much luck on youtube or either I'm just not looking in the right places.
