Yes, Its a ten string. Eharps were plentiful around here at one time, as Alkire lived in this area and had a studio near here.

I just play at home.... health does not permit me carrying heavy things around. The Carvin is ok, but I would prefer a real steel amp.

Still, some mystery remains 2) Was it an issue not with this video but another video on the same account? I think if you make one mistake your entire account gets zapped. The usrid that orginally posted it was 'russhulme', and when I did a search on that userid, it said the user account was suspend...

Bummer on YouTube

I just went to youtube to listen to Buzz Evans play "Somewhere Over The Rainbow", and I got a message saying it was removed due to terms of use violations!

Whats up with that?

Re: How Many Linux Users?

I've been running Ubuntu Linux for the last few weeks and don't think I'll be going back to XP. Anyone else? I have Mandriva 2007 and Fedora Core 6 both installed on my HP Media center tower. Both work well, and I use Mandriva most of the time. No more MickySoft for me. I tried Ubuntu, but I was ne...

Dave,

Thanks for all the good info. Mine is not an XT, is the older version. I don't have a midi port on my pc though, so that might be a problem. In fact, I don't even have windows. (Might have to hijack the wife's laptop :)

Pod Pro Setup

I picked up a Line6 Pod Pro for a rediculously low price the other day. Anyone have any suggestions for a good setup. I have a stereo rack power amp, with a pair of bass speakers, or a Carvin SX200, or a Peavey TNT115 bass amp to connect it to.

Chuck Rhodes

Heh, Heh, I know Chuck Rhodes. We were at a party in Perry County with another friend (Chuck Stoner) who had a private airport on his property which we joked about being Perry County International. The next night, Chuck made a comment on the air about the Perry County International Airport being clo...

The 'visitors' are probably not real people, but are webbots that 'read' the forum to index the material in google, or on of the other search engines. b0b could probably tell exactly which engine they come from.

I can read music, having studied the trumpet, flute, and oboe. However, I cannot play a piano score on my steel. I can however look at standard notation, and have a good idea of what a song is supposed to sound like, and then play a close facsimile. When I play my steel, I give the names of the note...

022 wound

David,

I currently have an 020 for my 6th string, so 022 is probably the right size. I'm just looking for which holes in the bellcranks to use, to save me a little time underneath.

Thanks though :)

Congrats on the Mullen

David,

I have had my RP for almost 3 years now, and its been perfect. The few times that I thought it was not, it turned out that the problem was me, and not the axe. Del Mullen is a tremendous craftsman, thats for sure!

Enjoy :)

022 wound for 6th string

I want to try using a wound 6th on my Mullen RP SD-12. Does anyone know which bellcrank hole I will have to use for the 1/2 tone raise on P2, and the full tone on P7?

Thanks.
