Beard R Square Neck Like new

Just in time for Christmas. Beautiful Beard R. I bought this guitar new 4 or 5 years ago and it's in near mint condition. Been hanging out in the closet. It's time that she got a home where she will get played. The tone is amazing. Asking 2000. I think they go around 2600 new. Will include strap, be...

How do you guys like your amps?
I have a Carter guitar..this is the first steel amp i've owned. It sounds
pretty sweet to me.

It is easy to tune and sounds sweet....

Nashville 1000 casters

We'll I'll be dipped. I just got my amp out of storage and it doesn't have
the holes for the casters installed. I guess i had it confused with my Fender amp.
No wonder there was nothing in the manual. Thanks for the help. Guess I'll plug this thing in and see if she still works...

Casters for Nashville 1000

Hi,

I was wondering what size fits this amp. I thought it said something in the manual, but I couldn't find it. Time to dig out the amp and start playing again.

thanks

I'm going to jump back in with 2 cents. I'm not trying to say I'm an great fiddler and know everything. One reason I like the open string keys... you have the open strings to drone against your melody so to speak. It sounds nice and full and you can use open strings to check your intonation. thats w...

I have a Jumbo Taylor 800 series. It plays great and has great sound. It plays a little harder than some other Taylors I have tried. I have mediums on it, but the action is really low. Definately sounds different than a Martin, but in a good way. I also have a Collings A style Mando. Sounds killer a...

Fire On The Mountain /Marshal Tucker? I was asking about the licks in this tune last week, but I got no response.. I downloaded it from Itunes. What a resourse for doing the coverband. I just do a search for what I need and get it for .99 cents. i don't need to buy a whole CD for one or two songs. T...

Fire On the Mountain Marshal Tucker Lick?

Hi. I'm covering this tune in my band. I've got most of it dialed except the lick over the D chord in the second chorus. The first time he plays a dropped E knee lever. The next time he kind of slides down? Not quite sure what that is. It's kind of a swingy thing, but really cool. One of these days ...

String gage for Supro 60

Hi Everyone,

I purchased an old Supro 60 last year. It's a cool old lap steel with the amp in the case that still works! Anyway I put some strings on it and they seem way to light.
What would you guys use?

Thanks

Mark,

Welcome. I also live where it rains a lot, but is beautiful. Seattle, Washington.
I play a Carter S10. There aren't many steelers in my area so I'm always checking out stuff up here.

Good luck and practice, practice, practice.

David, Sounds like the bean will work fine. Yet another good point.... if I use the POD I can relocate some of my effects pedals away from my steel.. or get rid of them all together.
