Anyone have any idea how many JCH guitars were built?

Just want to echo Buck's comments and , if you could, play "Deep Water" from the On & Off stage album or "I don't believe my heart can stand another you" from the same album.

Thanks for the info! Knew I could count on the forum to shed a little light on this mystery. I wonder if Mr. Franklin made anymore of these strange beasts. Amazing how many"one of a kind"guitars are out there!

Came across this on youtube. I didn't recognize the steel player AND, never knew of a Franklin Ped-a Bro/steel combo ever being built. Anybody know who this is and any info on the axe?

Very sad news. His recording with Dicky Betts on his solo album "Highway Call" is what got me first interested in steel guitar. His passing is a great loss. My sincere condolences go out to his family.

Hey Mike, When I saw him he had the Carter(which sounded great). He later went to the Zum but a friend of mine saw him recently and he had a Desert Rose guitar.

Hi Ray, Haven't really advertised my site too much as I'm STILL trying to find the time to rerecord the tunes I have up!:\ I used a little Tascam 2488 and have since upgraded to using my computer with Sonar 6.
