A dear friend of mine and fellow steel guitar lover, Ed Phipps, passed away Easter sunday. He lived in Arizona. We were ship mates aboard the USS Wisconsin in the 1950's. Rest in peace, my friend.

John Drury

John, I am terribly sorry I made a false report. With a nam like yours, It about had to be a coinsidence. I was wondering about the Hendersonville address. I knew you lived in Gallatin, but thought maybe you moved. Again, I am happy I was wrong.

Just got a call from BJ Wright's sister in law that BJ passed away this morning. He was like a brother to me and I will miss him dearly. He played bass with Hank Snow for many years and with Justin Tubb for a long time after that.
