Well - Saturday was a real nice day, so I loaded up my mama and drove to Gulfport where I met Bill Stafford,(the first forumite I ever talked to in person). Bobby bowman was at his area with a Sho-Bud pac-a-seat for sale. I asked him if he had ever personally sat on it himself, (to add to its collec...

I am leaving my Carter Starter stock, to keep the collectors value up. After I pay off the mortgage (in 33 more payments,) I am going to by a pro model quitar and customize it with True Tones!

I can't believe it! There is finally a question on this forum that I can really help with! I feel so useful! I am 6ft2 and my Carter Starter, with a low Goodrich pedal still had my right thigh rubbing the bottom of the body. I put some books under the legs and measured, and found that I really could...

Smiley's

Is there a program for "Smiley's" or "emoticons" that I can get for my mom? she keeps adding lists that are ad-ware and her home page gets hijacked, etc. She won't use the keyboard symbels, she has to have "the cute ones!"

Thanks for your suggestions!

As a listener of music and not from the view of a music historian - I enjoy it very much. Some really great pairings and some nice back-up. I find it a pleasure to listen to - wheather it is "historicaly" accurate or not. (How many Irving Berlin tunes are done exactly as he wrote them?) No...

My hands were drying out with winter and the harsh cleansers at work. So I went in to a big dept store, marched right up to the cosmetics counter and asked the lady what she had that wouldn't make me smell like my mother! She recommended "Clinique Deep Comfort Body Butter". Good Stuff! I u...

Bsldf _ cd

I recieved the Bobbe Seymour Legal Defense Fund CD yesterday and have given it a few listenings. I like it! He gives a variety of sounds, (effects), in a live setting and he has an interesting set list. (The back up band is tight too!) All and all, he is pretty good for an old feller. http://steelgu...

Ricky,

Thank you for the clip and the tab. I have the clip saved and the tab printed. Perhaps someday I will be able to play it.

May I ask what recording the clip is from? I will add it to my collection if it is still available.

Thanks again

I read here, last summer, that he had it ready to ship. I was always going to order it, but never got around to it. Then I heard "Remember When" and I sat right down and ordered it. Mr Green was very professional in his immediate shipping to me of my very own autographed copy! I could kick...

Win or lose, right or wrong, legal defense costs money. I truly hope his bill doesn't cost a business. I think I need to buy some of his new CD to give for gifts this year. (And, of course, one to listen to myself!)

Back in the '60's, I was in the Detroit area. We used to go to hall in the suburbs and watch the Motown "farm teams". They were singers signed with Motown and in groups that copied the major groups. I saw Cindy Birdsong singing with a "Supremes" copy long before she moved up to t...

Mike really did write that book - and I give it my recommendation. Not overly "wordy" and the information flows smoothly from one chord to another.

Joe There is a method to this madness! A scale is 8 notes. (CDEFGABC). It is made up of intervals of whole, whole, half, - and then it goes up a whole step and is repeated. (C-D = whole, D-E =whole, E-F =half, up a whole step to F-G = whole, and repeat whole, whole, Half. The last 4 notes of a scale...
