Has anyone changed out the 1Megohm linear taper tone pot on a Fender Deluxe 8 ? and if so where did you find a replacement pot?

Something very strange going on. I have been voting every day and to day I noticed that when I checked back Mike and T had increased from 24.99% to 25.00% and the leader had decreasea from 36.67% to 36.66% and that is normal. The strange thing is that the Walkens now in second place went from 27.83%...

Well I have voted every day since this got started but this morning we have lost ground.

The Hamptons 41.12%

The Mike and T Band 29.47%

We need one big push to close the gap before it is too late.
It would be a shame to not win this two years in a row for Mike and T.

Gene, I have Ser. No. 3808 Model 6153 natural with
about 8 inches of each end painted black feathered into the natural wood. Any idea what they called this finish?

Hi Karen. Once you get it clean a bit of Saran Wrap over the keyboard keeps all the dust,dirt and crumbs out. You can spill coffee or any thing on it with no problems. I have the same tag on the inside lid of my D-10 steel case.
My numbers are 3808 and 6153
My case is original and it is for a 1972 ShoBud.

When I get You Tube on I have to click on Real Player and bring it on screen then click on the volume control just behind the setting it is on and I get sound. This is at the bottom right of Real Player,next to mute, I don't know why this works...

I have had the same thing the last few days.
When I run the pointer over the posts they change color but when I click on to read them the color goes away, and it remained colored a few days ago so you could tell at a glance if you had read it.

Got mine last month and what a great book.IT is so handy having 60 great songs in one place, and a good variety of tunes. Lots of Christmas songs, and I am just a beginner so this book will keep me busy until at least next Christmas.
