As far as Hawaiian-Ness goes I think that it's so important to know when to slide up to notes.That one fret slide at just the right time. Listen to Jules or any of the Masters, Barney, David Keli'i, Feets Rogers,Gabby.To me that's the Hawaiian-Ness

What kind of Steel besides his Ric FryPan was he playing before the Fender Pedal Steel.

If you want to sound Hawaiian you need to have been born in Hawaii, and grew up living Hawaiian music and steel guitar (imoo).Even the great Jerry Byrd didn't sound as Hawaiian as Jules or Dick MacIntyre or David Keli'i my 2 cents

Thanks Erv, I hate to have to sell it but it was not very bright of me to spend that much in the first place.

No getting around it, the one I got from Erv Niehaus. I'd like to not lose any money so $1500, if any one can pull up the images again,I'd appreciate it. I'd like to sell locally if possible but
