Just checking to see if anyone is offering a weekend (or more) workshop for pedal steel. About every other instrument has them but I'm not finding any for our favorite one.

Computer help
Try hitting F8 after restart. That should take you to the area where you can choose safe mode. Go to Safe Mode with networking if you have that choice. Gives you the ability to get info.

Need info on this mystery tab
Here's a tab I downloaded or copied from Forum or Rebel that I can't identify. Would like to know the name of the song and who the steeler was on this. The whole thing is a bit over 5 pages. This is the first page.

Steel in San Antonio?
I'm coming to San Antonio this weekend to celebrate my "will you still need me, will you still feed me" birthday with friends. Any country music with steel guitar happening in the area?

Winter project - FREE!!
Guitar is gone. Thanks for the interest. b0b, remove this ad, please. I have a 1970 (bought new in '70 anyway) Fender 1000 D10 in very rough shape that someone with a knack for this sort of thing might want to restore. I will send it to you if you pay the shipping (probably about $100). It still has...

One way to tell is that the rhythm guitar player is playing different chords than Ray Price Actually both are playing in the key of F. Ray is using a capo on the 1st fret and playing E chord structure. The other guitar play is playing the F chord structure. I guess it could still be lip sync but no...

C6 diatonic chords
Are the letters for C6 pedals a continuation of the E9 ABC? i.e., E=pedal 5, F=pedal 6, etc.??

Steel at the Plough & Stars in SF
I'll be performing with Little White Lie on Saturday, Cinco de Mayo, at the Plough and Stars, 116 Clement St. at Second Av. in San Francisco. Great Irish bar that's a fixture in this neighborhood. Lots of Dale Watson and Dwight Yoakum honky tonk with some Miranda Lambert thrown in for attitude. Hope...

Pedal steel in San Francisco 10/27
I'll be playing steel with Little White Lie at the Plough and Stars, 2nd Av. and Clement in SF Friday night. Come on out for mostly honky tonk with the added attraction of a 21 yo girl singer who sounds like a young Tanya. Always a good time at the Plough. See ya there.

Has anyone got a tab for the Hank DiVito intro to this tune? I've got the notes but it seems the positions are very awkward. Thanks in advance. JV
[This message was edited by John Vaughan on 25 September 2006 at 06:40 AM.]...
