Old thread, but thought I could still add info. Roger is a great steeler....from Nixa, MO and the above info is correct...with the Baldknobbers. I first saw him play at a club in Springfield called Half-a-Hill Bottle Club. Speedy Haworth, Junior Copeland and others lit the place up. Quite an unbelie...

You and the guitar sound great in those clips. And...what a pleasure it is to hear such a great band from up north. Where did you find swing players in Canada? That is not easy to do...I couldn't find any from where I am in South Bend and had to introduce jazz players to Bob Wills. It took two years...

Man, this post brings back some old memories.

I played steel for Curley Cook and Country Company at Bigger N Dallas, early 70's. The club owner was a good looking completely wild woman..can't remember her name, but the band had it up to their eyebrows with Curley so we fired him...That's when Al Brumley took over....yep...Tom's brother. I calle...

I owned one of those things new back in the 70's. I wish you the best of luck. I'm with John about cleaning it up and using it without pedals at all. If I had my old one back, I would use it for firewood today. I should have used it for firewood back in those days....... :)

Good luck..really.

First up

Thanks for all the replies. To be fair, I have to do this in order fellas. Bill Lowe will be the first one to get pictures tonight after I get home from work. If he doesn't want them, we'll just go in order of emails received after that. Fair enough? Thanks again...

Elite Seat with Back - Zum Volume Pedal - Yamaha DDS-100 FS

Elite Seat with back and side pouch...great condition. I can send pics upon request. 125.00 includes ground shipping. Zum volume pedal... Excellent working condition and was actually my preferred pedal.... It isn't as pretty as the Hiltons but it's a lot cheaper and just as good as far as not losing...

I'll let Rolene confirm this, but I believe this guitar found a new home in Kansas City! However, I also know there are some other outstanding ZB's available as well as some incredible amps. If interested, you might send Rolene a message...via Tom's email.

Mickey couldn't be more right. Gigi wood and every centimeter is custom built. This was the only guitar Tom played for several reasons and several years before he left us. Probably as important to Tom as the tonal quality was the sheer comfort of playing this compared to anything else. I reveal the ...

Tom Brumley's Equipment - Available at Dallas Convention

Just confirmed today with Tom's wife Rolene, that we will be bringing several guitars and amps of Tom's making them available for purchase at the show. Tom would rather have someone enjoying his equipment rather than being stuck in a case. Guitars are meant to be played and these are some of the fin...

CMA? You must mean ABCMA. Anthing But Country Music Association. I don't begrudge anyone's success in music, but to call this XXXX country is a serious disgrace to many artists out there, both past and present. What a joke. Nashville 400 w/mod - Elite Seat For Sale

The amp is a 9 out of 10 cosmetically, but an 11 out of 10 for tone. I had two and sold one...this is the better one. Giving it up. Lost too many steeler friends recently and my hearts not in playing now especially with bad bands. The seat is also excellent. $400 for the amp and $125 for the seat, p...
