... proper answer is I don't know. .. however, it is small, both diameter and length (about 2 1/2 in. X 7/8 in), seems to be some sort of very hard and smooth plastic, and it's drilled through and filled with a metal core, about 1/2 in diameter brass I assume. ... hopefully Tom might see this and add...

MXR Resonator Pedal

I recently bought the new MXR Resonator Pedal from Tom Bradshaw along with the Little Buddy bar that optionally goes with it. Very happy with the dobro effect ...I'm not aiming to sound like a dobro ... it's just another sound to add ... like reverb, delay, etc. Was happily surprised at the range of...

Fot Those in Peril on the Sea

It can add a sombre like quality to pieces like "The navy hymn". You can end up with some very rich sounds, largely due to the bass lines created by putting a less obvious part in the bass. http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix/3003_NavyHymnP1_2.jpg http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix/...

New reverb installation in Session 500 .... question ?

Fitting a new reverb tank to my amp Got it all sorted except for one little detail. I've lost the bit of paper on which I recorded all such relevant details. There are 2 wires, both black, which are hanging down to connect to the reverb unit. How can I ascertain which is for Input and which for Outp...

Hi John, It's the Clip-0n. Since posting I have been testing above reasoning and it's looking very good on my very old Seiko with a cents display. Maybe I'll have to step up a model. It never occurred to me that the Clip-On wouldn't show cents! I love the strobe technology, so much more stable than ...

Peterson Tuners ...Default keys for Historic Tunings ?

I cannot find any information online as to what specific key the Historic Temperaments are calculated for. I suspect that it maybe C as the most affected instrument was the keyboard ... ie the white notes. However, the A = 440(+ or -) setting appears to be still operative, and obviously setting it w...

Thanks to all for the information and your experience. I know I was asking "How long is a piece of string?" question, and I appreciate your patience. Jon Light ... the site you suggested, short-cut most of my question. Over the years I have collected many pedals that either never had, or h...

power source for effect pedals question

I guess there's no general correct answer, because of variations between pedals, but how many pedals can you "daisy chain" off one regular 9 volt power source? .... or in other words at what number of pedals is a bigger power source needed? ... and if you exceed the number does it all just...

Godfrey, thanks for the info! I hadn't heard of them before, so I was surprised at the tone it was giving, to the extent that I was already questioning any plans of replacing it. Since my first post I have added Parametric EQ and a Digital Reverb and the tone has really lifted. And an added bonus to...

Dai Ichi speaker ? in a Studio Pro ...

Hi, I've just picked up a Peavey Studio Pro 112 Transtube 60w fitted with a Dai-ichi 12-100 speaker. (12 inch 100w). I assumed the speaker was not original but I am surprised at the quality of sound from this Phillipine made speaker. With a little juggling with equalizer it sounds (to my ear) very p...

Session 500 Owners ... Help! ????

Hi, How is the plastic fuse cover/cap on the back of my Session 500 attached? It feels loose, but it won't pull off or twist off with reasonable pressure and I'm afraid of breaking it. So if I'm going to use force I'd like to do it in the right direction! I've had it close on 20 years and never need...

Beautiful Dave!

I've been playing Traumerie for years !!! It just seems to fall onto the E9. I love your arrangement .... much "free-er" than mine ... but I Tabbed it out because at my age I'd have to re-arrange it tomorrow if I didn't have the odd memory jog!!!

Nic,

in "working/editing mode", go to display and change the duration.

When printing try adjusting the scale and proportional spacing settings under Print Setup.

hope this helps.
